BUSINESS & LEGAL REVIEW DRAFT
Terms of Service
A reviewable description of the platform and its current operating rules.
Draft status and operator
This is a review draft, not a final contractual statement. Confirm the operator identity, legal address, governing law, eligibility rules and acceptance mechanism before launch. The application currently identifies Arctic Raven Technologies Inc. in its footer.
Registration and account responsibilities
Clerk provides authentication and verification. New users complete the shared signup and account setup flow. Players and Facility Owners receive the appropriate application access after account provisioning. Keep account information accurate, protect account access and do not share verification codes. No minimum age, parental-consent rule or guarantee of access is established in this draft; those decisions require review.
Players, community and safety
Use games, player connections, chat and leagues respectfully. Do not harass, spam, impersonate others, share unlawful content or misuse another person’s information. Existing blocking and reporting tools help users raise concerns. Participants should assess their own fitness, equipment, venue conditions and safety. Sports involve physical risks; the final legal allocation of risk and platform responsibilities requires review.
Facility Owners and listings
Owners are responsible for the accuracy of facility, court, availability, pricing and business information they submit, and for operating their venue. Owners can manage pending facilities. Facilities must be ACTIVE and APPROVED to appear in public discovery and accept new bookings or Checkout, together with other existing publication and payment-readiness requirements. Admin verification is a platform publication control; it is not a guarantee of venue safety, licensing or quality.
Games and leagues
Games, league participation, invitations and organizer actions use the permissions and statuses implemented in Cliqplay. Respect the rules supplied by organizers and facilities. No universal competition, prize, eligibility or no-show policy is created by this draft; any final policy must match the feature and be communicated clearly.
Bookings, pricing and Stripe
The application displays bookable availability and calculates booking/payment details through its existing APIs. Stripe handles online payment processing and reconciliation. A reservation hold is not the same as a completed payment or confirmed booking. The final terms must explain displayed fees, taxes, facility payout arrangements and any payment-provider obligations without changing the current checkout flow.
Cancellations, refunds and no-shows
The current booking implementation prevents cancellation at or after the booking start time and for completed bookings. Its existing Player cancellation calculation distinguishes cancellations at least 24 hours before start from those within 24 hours; authorized Owner/Admin cancellations use their existing full-refund path for paid bookings. Provider processing and the actual transaction state determine the resulting outcome shown in the application. This description is not a new policy or a guarantee that every booking is refundable. Confirm these rules, time calculation, refund timing, exceptions, no-show handling and facility obligations before adopting final terms.
Complaints and disputes
Use Contact to submit a support request and retain its ticket reference. Admins can review tickets and internal history. This implementation does not introduce a customer email-reply system, formal arbitration mechanism or promised response deadline. Dispute jurisdiction and escalation procedures require business/legal approval.
Suspension, termination and retained records
The application can restrict unavailable or suspended accounts and unpublished facilities through existing Admin controls. Historical bookings, payments and necessary operational records are not erased by those access decisions. The final policy for notices, appeals, termination requests and data retention must be confirmed.
Platform responsibilities and future changes
The final terms must define service responsibilities, applicable warranties, liability limits, consumer rights, indemnities and any rules for interruptions. This draft does not invent exclusions or waive statutory rights. The notice period, effective date and user-acceptance process for changed terms are also pending review.
Confirm business identity and contact details, applicable laws, eligibility, retention/deletion processes, service providers and processing locations, final commercial policies and the notice/acceptance process. Complete qualified business/legal review.
